Port Washington Education Foundation Has a New Name

The Ed. Foundation. "New look, same goal."

The Port Washington Education Foundation has officially renamed itself The Ed. Foundation.

Residents may notice the Ed. Foundation’s new logo will be displayed all over town. A new banner will be on the Weber fence and special promotional items will be available at Open House at all seven schools in the district.

The foundation used the beginning of the school year to unveil its new name, logo and tagline.

“The rebranding comes at a time of major growth,” said Ed. Foundation President Paula Whitman. “We’re working hard to build on our past success, and reaching out to all segments of the community to strengthen, support and deepen existing relationships.”

In the 14 years of its existence, The Ed. foundation has awarded $1 million in grants to Port schools in various subject areas.
