9/11 Memorial in Port Washington to Honor Fallen Residents
A ceremony to honor fallen residents will be held this weekend.

A new 9/11 memorial honoring those killed in the line of duty on Sept. 11, 2001 will be unveiled at a remembrance ceremony hosted by the Port Washington Fire Department at Manorhaven Village Hall this weekend.
The monument will honor Port Authority Police Department Antonio Rodrigues, a resident of Port Washington, along with all the Port Washington residents who were killed in the attacks at the World Trade Center.
The monument was created by Kyle DiLeo who built the structure for his Eagle Scout project. Kyle will unveil his project to the community at the ceremony.

All residents are invited to attend this event to show their support and to “Never Forget” those who lost their lives that day.
The dedication ceremony will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Manorhaven Village Hall, located at 33 Manorhaven Boulevard.
