Port Washington: Learn About Human Triumph, Bravery During the Holocaust

A former hidden child will discuss those who risked their lives during the Holocaust to help others.

Members of the Port Washington community are invited to learn about the heartwarming stories of bravery that came out of the Holocaust later this month from a survivor-turned-educator.

Gloria Glantz, who was once a hidden child in Poland, will highlight the one good thing that came out of the Holocaust: the people who rescued and helped others even when their own lives were at risk.

Glantz will speak of the rescuers, including many names who may be surprising to hear.
