UPDATED: Port Washington Man With Alzheimer's Located
Frederick Cadet was reported missing Friday afternoon.

UPDATED at 12:53 p.m.:
Frederick Cadet, 76, of Port Washington, was located at 8:50 a.m. Saturday in Saddle Rock and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation, police say.

A Port Washington man with Alzheimer's disease has been reported missing, police say.
According to authorities, Frederick Cadet, 76, was last seen leaving his Beverly Road home on foot in an unknown direction at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Police described Cadet as black, 6 feet tall, 195 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, black pants and brown boots. Police say he requires medication for his Alzheimer's.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding Frederick’s whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or 911.
