Port Washington Police Commissioner Urges Responsible NYE Driving
All Island Transportation is offering free rides home from New Year's Eve celebrations.

Port Washington Police Commissioner Angela Lawlor Mullins urges residents to be cautious when going out this New Year’s Eve.
If you plan to drink outside your home, STOP DWI reminds you to:
- Choose a designated driver before going out.
- Take mass transit, a cab, or ask a sober friend to drive you home.
- Spend the night where the activity is being held.
- Download the STOP-DWI mobile app here
- Always buckle up
There will be extra taxi drivers working on New Year’s Eve to safely drive residents home.
For a free ride home from a bar, pub or catering hall, residents can call All Island Transportation at (516) 326-9090.
