Port Washington Police to Host Forum to Improve Peninsula's 'Livability'

The forum is set for Wednesday at the Port Washington Public Library.

The Port Washington Police District will host a panel discussion and community forum that aims to preserve and improve the neighborhood’s “livability,” on Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. in the Hagedorn Room at the Port Washington Public Library.

The program, called the Community Streets Initiative, is designed to discourage undesirable driver behavior, encourage safe pedestrian and bicycle use, improve the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers, involve community members in solving traffic problems, and make efficient use of their tax dollars by prioritizing requests for improvements.

The forum is open to all who live and work in our community.
