Port Washington Schools Show Gratitude to Education Foundation

District 'eternally grateful' to Port Washington Education Foundation, which recently awarded 37 grants.

The Port Washington Education Foundation (PWEF) recently awarded the Port Washington School District 37 grants during the foundation’s grant awards ceremony at Paul D. Schreiber High School.

The PWEF, an independent, not-for-profit community-based organization, actively raises funds and awards grants to enhance and expand educational opportunities for all students in the Port Washington Public Schools. The foundation actively seeks donations, grants and government money in order to fund selected programs and resources.

All of the district’s seven schools were bestowed with honorary grants, which will support the schools and their respective educational endeavors during the 2014-15 academic year.
