“Eagle Scout is an honor aspired by many but achieved only by a select few,” Phillips said in a press release. “Successfully completing the years of hard work, training and community service needed to earn scouting’s highest rank, as Evan has done, is something that is really special and deserving of commendation. Congratulations to Evan, his family and Troop 7 on this achievement."
New York State Senate unanimously adopted the legislative resolution on Wednesday, Jan. 18, which will put Evan’s name and accomplishment into the New York State Senate’s official record.
