Port Washington Seventh Grader Stands Out Among Nassau County Drummers
He was recently selected for the Nassau Music Educators Association Division III All-County Jazz Band.
One talented seventh grader at Weber Middle School was recently selected for the Nassau Music Educators Association Division III All-County Jazz Band, making him the only drum set drummer selected for this honor.
Caleb Thomas was chosen among a field of talented percussionists and musicians. He was the only seventh grade drummer selected.
The Division III All-County Jazz Band concert will be held at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts’ Hillwood Recital Hall on Jan. 17. The district congratulates Caleb on this impressive honor. Caleb is pictured with his band teacher, Elizabeth Andrew.
