Pumpkin Cheesecake at North Shore Farms

Pastry chef Vittorio Gagliardo at is taking his popular cheesecake – he sells over 120 each week – and turning it orange in time for Halloween and the Thanksgiving table.

The Dish: Pumpkin cheesecake

What’s Inside: this is a New York style cheesecake, which means there’s lots of creamy cream cheese. To the mix, the baker adds pumpkin puree plus spices associated with the season – nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice.

How’s It Taste: very smooth and mellow. The pumpkin taste is there but not overpowering and the spices get you in the holiday spirit.
