Roslyn Heights Man Dies After Falling off Roof
A family member found the man lying face down and not breathing Friday night, police said.
A Roslyn Heights man died after he fell off the roof of his home and landed on the patio Friday night, police said.
A family member found Elliot Wertheim, 66, lying face down on the patio and not breathing at his Shepherd Lane home at 9:30 p.m., police said.
According to authorities, Wertheim was working on the roof of his home when he fell.

Nassau Police responded to the scene and performed CPR on the victim. He was taken to a local hospital for severe head trauma and was pronounced dead by a staff physician at 10:17 p.m.
No criminality is suspected.
