Roslyn Heights Man Stole $27K From Bank of America: Police
Police said he was involved in an ongoing scheme from September to October of last year.

A Roslyn Heights man was arrested Thursday after police said he was involved in an ongoing scheme where he stole more than $27,000 from Bank of America last year.
According to authorities, Rudolph Rubinstein, 26, cashed checks and deposited them into different Bank of America accounts from Sept. 25 to Oct. 6.
Rubinstein would then withdraw the funds to enrich himself once they became available, police said.

His actions reportedly caused a financial loss in excess of $27,000 to Bank of America.
An investigation led detectives to Rubinstein’s home and placed him into custody without incident. No injuries were reported.

Rubinstein was charged with third degree grand larceny. He was arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
