Schreiber High School Students Named National Merit Semifinalists
The Port Washington students are among the top 16,000 students throughout the nation acknowledged for the academic achievement.

The Port Washington School District is proud to announce that nine students at Paul D. Schreiber High School have been named semifinalists in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Competition.
Students Michael Colonna, Andrew Costenoble, Samuel Goldman, Noah Hirsch, Evan Kaminsky, Elizabeth Muratore, Crystal Ren, Wyndham-John Stopford and Christopher Wilson are among the top 16,000 students throughout the nation who are being acknowledged for the remarkable academic achievement.

Approximately 1.4 million students entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. These semifinalists can advance in the competition by maintaining high academic standards and meeting rigorous requirements set by the scholarship program.
“This recognition illustrates the culture of hard work, dedication and commitment prevalent among our students throughout the Port Washington School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Mooney. “I congratulate these students on this achievement, and wish them all continued success this school year.”
