Schreiber Senior Is 'Outstanding Participant' in National Achievement Scholarship Program
The Port Washington student placed in top 3 percent in this academic competition.

Christianne M. Bharath, a Schreiber High School senior, was named an Outstanding Participant by the National Achievement Scholarship Program. Conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, the National Achievement Scholarship Program is an academic competition established to honor Black American high school students.
Bharath is one of nearly 4,700 high school seniors whose 2011 PSAT/MNSQT scores are among the top 3 percent of more than 160,000 Black Americans who requested entry to the 2013 National Achievement Program. To recognize Bharath's potential for academic success in college, her name will be included in a roster of Outstanding Participants that is referred to approximately 1,500 colleges and universities.
