Schreiber Student Inspires Young People With Diabetes

The young leader was recently appointed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Children's Congress.

A young leader from Port Washington was recently honored by the Town of North Hempstead for being appointed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Children’s Congress earlier this month.

Ashley Randall, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 9, says she doesn’t look at her illness as an obstacle.

It definitely doesn’t hold her back. Randall will be a senior at Paul Schreiber High School where she is on the lacrosse, soccer and track and field teams.
