Schreiber Students Recognized as Intel Science Talent Search Semifinalists
Senator Jack M. Martins recognized the students as "two of the country's best and brightest young scientists."

Two Schreiber High School seniors were recently recognized by Senator Jack M. Martins for being chosen as national semifinalists in the 2016 Intel Science Talent Search.
Congratulations to Madeline Fagen and Emma Feldman, who were among 300 semifinalists nationwide chosen for this honor.
“After devoting untold hours researching, studying and developing their projects in close collaboration with their teachers, Madeline and Emma excelled in the Intel competition and were recognized as two of the country’s best and brightest young scientists,” Martins said in a press release. “It’s a really special achievement which I’m sure will be the first of many more to come for these two young women.

Martins presented Fagen and Feldman with legislative resolutions in recognition of their accomplishment. Their names will be forever part of the New York State Senate's official record through this resolution, which was sponsored by Martins.
“Congratulations to both of them on this well deserved honor,” Martins said.
