SoulCollage: Committee Suit - Embracing Your Inner Voices

Whether you're new to SoulCollage® or a seasoned veteran who is building a full deck of cards, SoulCollage® is a fun and easy way to tap into your intuitive wisdom and for self-discovery and self-acceptance.

The cards in the Committee Suit belong to your own internal voices. This is the psychological dimension of your deck.  Examples include: the shy one, the teacher, the inner critic, the caretaker, the judge, the happy child. Presenter, Lisa O'Connor, will guide you as you explore, honor and learn from these internal voices.  As always, participants are welcome to collage on the presented theme, or on their own theme if they choose.

Experience with SoulCollage® is not necessary to attend. For first timers, plan to arrive 10 minutes early for a brief introduction.

About SoulCollage®
This process developed by therapist Seena Frost offers a new twist on collage and vision boards.  People typically create a collage or vision board on a poster sized paper and use many images and words to represent a general version of life themes.  SoulCollage® is very different whereas only a few images are used to create 5"x8" cards that focus on one aspect of the person, one card at a time. Popular themes include the Inner Child, the Wise One, the Mother or the Fool. The process is an uplifting way to express yourself and explore areas of your personality, life, fears, hopes and dreams.

Central to the process of SoulCollage® is a deck of cards that is handmade by the owner. Your deck will be different from all other decks because it is uniquely yours. You alone choose the images that comprise the cards in your deck. You alone decide how many cards are in your deck.

Lisa O'Connor provides thousands of pre-cut images for participants to select from when making their SoulCollage® cards. There is no need to draw or paint anything. Participants just need to be able to cut and paste. It’s that simple! This removes the pressure of having to be “artistic” and allows you to fully relax and enjoy the process. The results are visually stunning cards that can be used in numerous ways, including meditation, journaling and readings.

Fee: $30. Space is limited to 8 Participants. Visit www.livingroomstudio.org to RSVP or for more info.
