Special Events at the Port Washington Farmers' Market
Mark your calendars for three special events at the Market, beginning this Saturday with a Book Exchange! All free of charge!

Mark your calendars! Grassroots Environmental Education will be hosting three special events at the Port Washington Organic Farmers’ Market, starting this Saturday.
On August 29th, bring your books to the Town Dock for a Book Exchange! While any good read will be welcomed, we especially encourage cookbooks and books related to nutrition, gardening, and other similar topics, as well as books for children. It’s all free of charge!
Interested in alternative energy? Grassroots’ fourth annual Alternative Energy Day will take place on September 26th! Alongside the Market’s regular vendors, this popular event will feature booths from alternative energy service providers, including solar, geothermal, and sustainable landscaping professionals, builders and material suppliers of green homes, and booths providing general information on the subject of transitioning to clean energy.

Finally, come support local craftspeople during Artisans’ Day on October 17th. Browse the unique and exceptional work of a variety of painters, jewelry-makers, and potters, and interact with some of our community’s most talented artists!
And, of course, continue to enjoy all of your familiar favorites, including organic produce, baked goods, herbs, flowers, and much more at the only exclusively organic Farmers’ Market in New York State. Come join us, rain or shine, at the Town Dock every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until 12 noon through the last weekend in October!
