Spotlight on Suite 275 - Shop for HEARTS on Feb. 4

If winter and snow in Port Washington has you feeling bleak, come join HEARTS as we chase away the winter blues and paint the town red! Join us for HEARTS month with many opportunities to celebrate the arts while donating to a great cause!

On Thursday February 4th, Shop for HEARTS and celebrate the arts while supporting both HEARTS and our local small business retailers. From 4:00 – 8:00 PM, look for small businesses with the HEARTS logo on the door, who are donating a portion of their sales to HEARTS. Some businesses are donating a portion of the entire day’s sales, so please go to www.heartspw.org for a complete list of local businesses and promotions. Please be sure to mention the magic password “HEARTS” when making a purchase or taking a class.

Suite 275 is a women’s and junior’s clothing boutique located on lower Main Street. Catering to all ages, Suite 275 features popular brands such as MinkPink, Blank NYC, Dittos, Bobi, Melie Bianco, and MonoB. Owner Aylin Imam said “ We try to stand out from other retail stores by providing a classy chic experience with a moderate price tag. Being a Schreiber graduate myself, I love our town and I’m so blessed to be an active part of the community. One of my favorite things about Port besides our beautiful landscape is our family-like community.”

When Aylin was growing up in Port Washington, she was very involved in the arts. “It is so important that children have alternate outlets for creativity. The art of dance really spoke to me and I remember my days on the Portettes fondly.” Aylin recalled “One of my favorite memories was during my senior year. The Schreiber band was asked to perform at Carnegie hall, and as a Portette captain we were asked to accompany for the Band’s rendition of Washington and Lee. What an amazing experience.”

Currently Suite 275 is having an end of the season sale of 30%-40% off all winter items. Don’t forget to mention “HEARTS” when you make a purchase on Thurs. Feb 4th! 10% of sales will be donated directly to HEARTS.
