Still Coaching After 54 Years [VIDEO]
Bruce MacDonald could be nicknamed the father of Schreiber Cross Country. He started the program in 1957 and has coached Port athletes ever since.
This year, Schreiber head coach Robin Cooper created a 5k run at the Sands Point Preserve and named it after longtime Port Washington coach, Bruce MacDonald. MacDonald has won numerous coaching awards and ran in the Olympics as well as coached some of the best runners to come out of Port Washington.
