Storytelling is Focus of World Festival at PWPL

Celebrate World Tales - traditional stories from around the globe that are shared through generations. Visit the Library for March storytelling activities, led by Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk.

“Tales from Around the World”
Friday, March 21 at 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
A delightful performance starring Jonathan Kruk and members of the audience. For Children in grades K and up with an adult. Free! No tickets or registration required.   

Story Makers’ Workshops
Fridays, March 21 & March 28 at 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Children in grades 4 through 6 can turn a personal story or a favorite folk tale into a short performance piece that can be performed at the World Festival. Free! Pre-registration is required – call 516.883.4400, Ext 150.

World Festival
Sunday, March 30 at 1 to 6 p.m.
Story Makers are invited to perform during the festival in the Children's Room Jackie Spielman Story Circle with Jonathan Kruk as MC.

Storytelling activities are funded by the Jackie Spielman Storytelling Fund of the Port Washington Library Foundation.
