
The new Harry Potter prequel "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" is creating magic in Port Washington.
The Shrieber High School GAMBOL fundraising committee is partnering with local Momtrepreuener Cynthia Litman of MomTime Events to create a fun movie event for local teenagers this Thursday, November 17th at Soundview Cinemas with a private pre-party and premiere screening of the film.
Cynthia says, "I've produced many movie events for local moms ("Bad Moms") and kids ("Finding Dory") and I'm so excited to welcome teens ranging from middle to high school to come join in on the movie magic at Soundview Cinemas and support GAMBOL."

"Every student going through the Port Washington School District will one day have the opportunity to experience GAMBOL. It's not just any ordinary prom, Shrieber parents go all out to create an extraordinary experience for the graduating seniors" explains Lisa Marschall, GAMBOL committee member.
An entire year of fundraising events are planned to help raise the extravagant six figure budget for GAMBOL. The theme of GAMBOL is the most coveted secret in town. Most of the fundraising events are for the parents, this Thursday's MomTime Teen Movie Event is among the few GAMBOL fundraising events that are for the students.

Local businesses are stepping in to support the event. Charlotte's Closet, founded by local mom Jen Forman, rents special occasion dresses will be dressing up a few local teens in prom fashion and setting up a mini boutique during the reception. To match, Victor Talbots, will be dressing up the boys in designer tuxedos.
Sylvan Learning Center on Main Street provides test prep for students and is setting up a magical science station during the reception.
O'Hara's Ale House is catering the event with teen friendly fare.
All teens are welcome to join in the magic.
