With the Port Washington School District and the Port Washington Teachers Association reaching an agreement that extends the teacher’s contract, officials say the district will save $1.3 million.

This and other savings and revenue has some buzzing about preserving, restoring and even expanding programs in Port Washington schools. Among them: full-time librarians, PEP, and foreign language.
