“This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to postpone our annual Asian-American Festival until 2021,” said Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “We worked with many of our Asian American festival committee members to create this slate of programs which celebrates our diversity in North Hempstead. Each day, we will be offering different episodes to highlight many of the countries that usually perform at our Asian-American Festival.”

The episodes include traditional music and dance from Korea; a cooking and traditional dance from India; music, origami and sushi making from Japan; Chinese yo-yo, a shadow puppet show, and bubble tea segment from China; and musical performances from Pakistan.
