Bring your valentine to hear Broadway's most romantic couple sing their favorite love songs in Castle Gould's Great Hall on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Composer/Music Director Stephen Lutvak is joined by two musical theater powerhouse performers, Kathy Voytko and her real-life husband John Cudia.
This beautiful, talented couple will sing of love - or the lack thereof. Songs include "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera; the comical "To Keep My Love Alive" from A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court; the wonderful standard from the world of Operetta, "Be My Love;" the outrageous "Not Getting Married" from Stephen Sondheim's ground breaking show, Company - and a few delightful surprises...
Kathy has performed in the Broadway productions of Oklahoma!, Nine, The Pirate Queen, The Frogs, and On Your Toes. She also performed the title role in the legendary Evita 25th Anniversary Tour.
John is the only actor to play the leading roles in BOTH Phantom of the Opera (where he met Kathy) and Les Miserables on Broadway. Most recently, he starred in the revival of Evita.
Steve is the award-winning composer of the new Broadway musical hit, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. He wrote the title track to the film Mad Hot Ballroom. In an illustrious career, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, Joe's Pub, the Russian Tea Room, and the Algonquin.
Tickets are $120 per person and include cocktails, candlelight dinner, and a sumptuous dessert buffet as well as the concert.
