Waldo Finds His Way to Port Washington

The beloved Martin Handford character celebrates 25 years with a scavenger hunt.

In honor of his 25th anniversary, Waldo is “hiding” in different stores throughout Port Washington. And is giving prizes to anyone who can find him in a community-wide scavenger hunt during July.

Where’s Waldo figures have been placed in 20 stores in Port Washington, and anyone who finds them will receive a ticket saying where he was. These tickets can be collected to receive a Where’s Waldo button or a chance to win a bigger prize from the Dolphin Bookshop.

The button is worth eight Waldo tickets, and 16 or more gets an entry into the raffle which will be held July 31 at 6 p.m. Raffles will include Where’s Waldo books as well as gift certificates for the stores participating in the
scavenger hunt.
