Which School Board Candidates Will Best Fill the Positions?

Five candidates want a spot on the Port Washington School Board, but only three will come out victorious.

Find out who will best fill the three open spots at a Candidates Forum on Monday.

At the forum, the candidates will all explain why they would best fill the position.

The candidates include: James Ansel, Larry Greenstein, Nora Johnson, David Sattinger and Elizabeth Weisburd.

Stop by the Schreiber High School cafeteria at 7 p.m. to make an informed decision on who would be best for the job.

Members of the audience will be able to openly ask questions after each candidate gives a presentation.

The Candidates Forum is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Port Washington-Manhasset.

These candidates are vying for the seats currently held by Vernon McDermott, Mr. Greenstein and Ms. Johnson.

The election will be held on Tuesday, May 19 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Weber Middle School auditorium.
