Nassau County Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) was on hand to sound the horn at the start of the 2013 Sands Point Preserve Sprint on Saturday, Aug. 10. The race was dedicated to Abe Bernstein, a cancer survivor and runner, who is pictured here with Legislator Wink. The net proceeds from the Sprint were donated to the Feinstein Institute of North Shore-LIJ Health System and its Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia and treatment program. Legislator Wink would like to thank all the runners who participated in this great cause.
