Legislator Wayne Wink (D-Roslyn) attended the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter’s Puppy Pavers Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 12. The Town of North Hempstead is dedicating a patio at the shelter named “Paws to Remember,” which incorporates “Remembrance Bricks.” These bricks can be engraved with a personal message honoring beloved pets. Legislator Wink and Legislator Judi Bosworth (D-Great Neck) presented the shelter with a citation from Nassau County and commended the staff for all of their commitment and dedication to the animals at the shelter.
