Woman Drove Drunk on LIE With Child in Back Seat: Police
The woman was arrested Sunday morning, police say.

A Washington Heights woman faces felony DWI charges after police say she drove drunk with a 9-year-old in the car Sunday morning on the Long Island Expressway.
According to authorities, officers pulled over a vehicle for driving erratically in the westbound lanes near Exit 36 in North Hills at 3:09 a.m.
An investigation revealed the driver, 32-year-old Stephanie Quezada, was intoxicated and she was subsequently placed under arrest, police say. The investigation also revealed a 9-year-old girl was sitting in the back seat while the girl’s mother was also in the vehicle, police say.

The child and mother were released to a family friend.
Quezada is charged with aggravated DWI (Leandra’s Law), endangering the welfare of a child, DWI, driving alcohol impaired and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. She will be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
