Upstate New York College Student Killed In Drunk Hit-And-Run (943litefm.com) — A 20-year-old SUNY Potsdam student was killed early Saturday when an SUV left Pierrepont Avenue, drove onto a front lawn near campus, and struck her as she visited friends off-campus. Potsdam police arrested an 18-year-old Brasher Falls man hours later, charging him with leaving the scene of a fatal crash and alcohol-related offenses, while SUNY Potsdam leaders and teammates mourn her loss.
