• Dancing Turtle Rescue coming to North Country Children's Museum Oct. 10 (northcountrynow.com) — Families in Potsdam can meet live turtle “ambassadors” at the North Country Children’s Museum on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to noon. Dancing Turtle Rescue will share hands-on encounters and explain threats facing native freshwater turtles, from habitat loss to road dangers, while kids learn how rescued turtles are rehabilitated and sometimes become permanent educators.
