Kingston's 'Fentacrack' Summer: Deadly New Drug Likely Behind ODs at Midtown Linear Park, Law Enforcement Says (newsatomic.com) — Law enforcement link a dangerous fentanyl–cocaine mix to a recent spike in overdoses in Poughkeepsie, including two deaths and 17 nonfatal cases in one weekend, and to worsening conditions in Kingston’s Midtown Linear Park. Dutchess County’s drug task force responded with targeted surveillance on Rose Street, leading to at least one arrest tied to the suspected batch.
