Open Invitation to Pet Parents and their Beloved Pets

WHAT: New York Post columnist Cindy Adams is inviting pet parents to Christ Church of Manhattan for the annual free Blessing of the Animals event. This event draws a passionate and distinguished crowd of animal lovers who come to spread holiday cheer by having their beloved pets blessed by New York City Senior Minister Stephen Bauman of Christ Church and Central Synagogue Senior Rabbi Peter J. Rubinstein. The hour ecumenical service includes caroling by the Roosevelt High School choir.

The 7th Annual Blessing of the Animals event is presented by New York Post and co-sponsored by Cornell University Veterinary Specialists and College of Veterinary Medicine, The Baker Institute for Animal Health, HeavenBlessUs, distinguished realtor and former owner of the NY Post Peter Kalikow, philanthropist and NYC mayoral candidate John Catsimatidis.

COST: Blessing of the Animals is a free event for all types of animals and their guardians Donations of new toys for animals are welcome and will be donated to New York City Animal Care and Control.
