8 Hurt In Fire In Crown Heights High-Rise, FDNY Says
The Troy Avenue fire took 78 firefighters and an hour to put out, fire officials said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Eight people were hurt when a fire broke out in a Crown Heights high-rise on Thursday, according to fire officials.
The blaze started in the fourth floor of the 14-story building on Troy Avenue between Prospect and Park place just before 1:30 p.m., according to the FDNY.
Two people were seriously hurt by the fire and another six suffered minor injuries, according to the FDNY. Five of the people who were hurt were sent to the hospital, officials said.

It took more than 70 firefighters and nearly an hour to extinguish the fire, which will be investigated by fire marshals, officials said. It was under control by 2:20 p.m.
