Crown Heights Drug Bust: Cops Seize 97 Pounds Of Marijuana
Three people are facing drug charges after cops raided a Crown Heights apartment and seized nearly 100 pounds of marijuana.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Three people are facing drug charges after police seized 97 pounds of marijuana and nearly $1 million in cash from a Crown Heights apartment, police told Patch.
Cops raided 899 Montgomery Street, located between Troy and Schenectady avenues, around 9 p.m. Friday night after securing a search warrant for an apartment in the building, police told Patch. The warrant was obtained after a joint NYPD and Jersey City Police Department investigation into a drug ring operating out of the building, police told Patch.
Humphrey Olivo, 36, Yazmin Olivo, 30, and Jose Pichardo, 28, were arrested during the raid, police said. Cops also found 97 pounds of marijuana and $931,000 cash inside the apartment, police told Patch. All thre people were charged with criminal possession, sale and use of marijuana, police said. Pichardo was additionally charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Humphrey and Yazmin Olivo are both listed as living in 899 Montgomery Street and Pichardo is a resident of a building on Rivington Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, police told Patch.
