A wonderful friend to Art on the Corner and a favorite of concertgoers,acclaimed harmonica virtuoso, Jiayi He, is joined by composer, Yuanlin Chen [on keyboard], violinist Evelyn Petcher and Alliison McNeal, violist Kerrick Sasaki, and cellist Lisa LaFountaine. Winner of prestigious awards in America, Europe, and the Far East, He performs concerts around the globe playing different kinds of harmonicas: Chromatic, Diatonic, Tremolo, Wheel, Keyboard, Bass, as well as the largest harmonica and the smallest harmonic in the world! The program features works by Yuanlin Chen, Frédéric Chopin, Ennio Morricone, Johann Strauss II, George Gershwin, and many others.
The highlight of the concert will be the premiere of a new work, "Aurora," by famous composer, Yuanlin Chen. This composition is written especially of this concert event and features harmonica, violins, cello, and keyboard. Yuanlin Chen will also play his new work on keyboard at the concert.
