Home School Science

Home School Science engages young scientists in hands-on exploration to expand their understanding of a science topic.

Kiddie Science is a nonprofit organization that presents fun, engaging, hands-on science workshops to young children and families. We offer two sessions of Home School Science, one for ages 5-7, another for ages 8-10.

Our next unit of study is Food Science & Urban Agriculture. During this 6-week session, young scientists will explore the categorization of foods, variations within food species, conduct food-related experiments, cook simple recipes, and establish an edible garden. The goal of this workshop series is to connect young scientists with the food they eat. We will learn the basics of botany and gardening in order to meet the needs of our plants. Young scientists will get hands-on and dirty as we work together to care for our indoor and backyard gardens.

Advanced registration required and space is limited. Learn more, and register online at http://www.kiddiescience.org/h...
