8pm- Karen Jonas
Genre: Americana/Alt-Country
For fans of: Jason Isbell, The Civil Wars, Dwight Yoakum, Ryan Adams

Don’t be fooled by those big brown eyes, Karen Jonas is no deer in the spotlight. From her intensely personal songwriting to her smoldering performances, this delicate, soft-spoken songstress pulls no punches. Joined by guitarist Tim Bray, the pair have been lighting up venues at an astonishing rate since the successful debut of their first album, "Oklahoma Lottery." Richly atmosphered by Tim’s tasteful twang, Jonas’s storytelling comes to life on this ten-song exploration of love and loss. Jonas borrows the eyes of Bonnie Parker, a Dust Bowl family, and a whole cast of struggling characters in a voice so true you’d swear she’s seen it all herself.

“Karen Jonas doesn’t turn lemons into lemonade; she takes lemons and spikes her whiskey before punching you in the face.” - Colin McQuire, Frederick News Post

9pm- Selsbak
Genre: Alt-Folk-Blues
For fans of: Nathaniel Rateliff, Gregory Alan Isakov, Junior Wells

Selsbak has spent the last 5 years traveling and living in Iceland, Russia, Madagascar, Germany and currently New York -- while playing his indie-folk to a wide variety of audiences. His unique selection of instruments, including the tenor guitar and harmonica, give his music a melodic presence that is immediately stirred up with the sound and soul of his rugged voice. His recent EP, White Pine, tells of stories and feelings through the natural and concrete jungles of his travels. His music has a soft nature with a large presence sure to please.

"The music evokes all of the dreaminess, pensiveness, and/or wanderlust you would expect from a folk singer who’s begun to master a sound that can create atmospheres out of the minimal.” - WordKrapht
