The legendary Pete Seeger said of Judy “She shoots the arrow straight to the heart, a wonderful singer and musician.” Based out of Brooklyn, Judy has been a mainstay of the New York folk scene. She has shared stages with the likes of Ani DiFranco, Moby, Pete Seeger, Indigo Girls, Whoopi Goldberg, Suzanne Vega, to name but a few.

STANLEY JOHN MITCHELL
Originally hailing from New Zealand singer/songwriter/drummer Stan, now based in Brooklyn, fronts his own Band of Buddies and plays an eclectic mix of Americana meets South Pacific rock and roll.
JONATHAN GREGG
Jonathan has established himself as New Yorks ‘go to guy’ if you want some tasty Americana guitar or pedal steel on your gig.
He also happens to be a very talented songwriter. He will showcase his tunes this night backed by Stan and the Band of Buddies

RISA MICKENBERG
NYC-based Risa is a writer by trade and can tell a brilliant witty story in song. For the past 6 years she has fronted the band ‘Jesus H Christ and the Four Hornsmen of the Apocalypse’. This night she will perform with renowned NY guitarist Joel Shelton.
IRV LOUIS LATTIN
Originally from Chicago, ‘Sir’ Irv has established himself in NYC as one of the best purveyors around of classic Soul, R’n’B and Blues. He can be seen regularly at such respected venues as BB Kings, Terra Blues and Brooklyns Dinosaur BBQ.
GENE CASEY
As the consummate performer Gene leads The Lone Sharks, one of the most popular and highly acclaimed Roots Americana bands in the tri-state area. His repertoire features classic vintage tunes as well as solid originals. His tunes have been featured on various tv shows and films.

Phantom Pop is a 5 piece instrumental band from Brooklyn, NY. The group combines elements of funk, soul, and R&B with the improvisation of jazz to create their own sound.
Originally formed by Dave Lowenthal to create an album, it was quickly realized that there was something special going on. The band consists of Dave Lowenthal on electric bass, Josh Schusterman on drums, Haruka Yabuno on keyboard, Matt Giella on cornet, and Atsushi Ouchi on saxophone.

Joe Wagner was born to a musical family on June 5, 1976 in Saratoga Springs, NY. He started playing the alto saxophone at the age of 10 and quickly fell in love with the music of Charlie Parker. He studied jazz and frequented many jazz clubs in the New York area before starting his professional career at the age of 16. While playing in many jazz and R&B settings as a high school student, Joe continued to study and absorb the jazz language and while studying with many jazz luminaries such as Mark Vinci, Milt Hinton, Pat La Barbara, Nick Brignola and Frank Mantooth.
After college, Joe joined the Glenn Miller Orchestra in 1998 and toured around the United States playing Tenor Sax, flute and clarinet while playing the classic Miller songbook. Following this stint, he joined Carnival Cruise Lines as a showband saxophonist from 1998 to 2000, travelling to Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, The Virgin Islands, Hawaii and Alaska. During this time, he practiced diligently and continued to develop his personal sound.
In June 2000, Joe joined the United States Air Force band and was stationed near San Francisco, California until August 2002. During this time he performed with a variety of artists including Mark Levine, Bruce Forman and Marvin Stamm. In August 2002, he was transferred to Japan and performed in Thailand, Australia, Korea and Guam with the USAF Band of the Pacific Asia.This experience culminated in a rare performance with the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej in July 2005 at the King’s summer palace in Hua Hin, Thailand. Joe left the USAF band in 2007 and freelanced throughout the Tokyo area in a variety of settings until May 2013.
In May 2013, Joe started the Master’s degree program in Jazz Studies at New York University. At NYU, he has studied with Rich Perry, John Scofield, Don Friedman, Jean-Michel Pilc, Billy Drummond, and Brad Shepik. He has performed at the Blue Note jazz club in NYC with Rich Perry and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola with Dave Pietro and Michael Rodriguez. He continues to perform regularly in the NYC area.
