Man Shot In Crown Heights Early Thursday: NYPD

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A man was shot early Thursday morning in eastern Crown Heights and remains in critical condition, police said.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the left leg at 1776 Union St. near Lincoln Terrace Park about 6:45 a.m., police said.

First responders rushed the man to Kings County Hospital, said police, who described his condition at the time as critical.

Police did not have any additional updates to the victim's condition.

Authorities say they are seeking a man wearing a navy blue tracksuit in connection to the shooting, but had no other information regarding a suspect.

Officials found a single bullet casing at the scene and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
