Michelle Obama Sparkled 'Brightly As Her Amazing Boots:' Fans

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- Michelle Obama dazzled her Brooklyn fans with her poise, her grace, and her thigh-high glittering boots.

"The depth of her openness and honesty is a bright light in the darkest night we've ever been in," said attendee Victory Snow. "Honesty sparkled in the dark almost as bright as her amazing boots did!"

The former first lady joined "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker Wednesday night for a frank discussion about her White House tenure just weeks selling out the Atlantic Avenue arena for a "rock star" event.

And Obama didn't disappoint on Wednesday, when she stepped onto the stage wearing a Demna Gvasalia silk shirt dress and thigh-high knife boots from designer Balenciaga, Vogue reported.

The show is part of the former First Lady's 10-city book tour for her memoir "Becoming." In New York, signed books at the Union Square Barnes & Noble and made a surprise visit to the Lower East Side Girls Club.

Snow and her wife Rachel Ritter Snow, of Kingston, said Obama managed yet again to charm the hoards who came to hear her speak.

"Michelle Obama is the very picture of grace, authenticity, and strength we are all craving for," said Snow.

"She continues to leap over every bar put in front of her never forgetting to honor those who came before her."

"And not for a second does she pretend any of it has been easy."
