For fans of: Animal Collective, The Cave Singers, Peter Walker
Mood Tattooed is Hagan Knauth, a 21 year old singer, composer, producer and performer hailing from upstate New York. Growing up on acres of farmland, Hagan spent his early years exploring the rural landscape in which he lived, drawing inspiration from all corners of nature. His connection with the outdoors is ever present in his music, manifesting itself as layers of reverberated guitar, vocals, flute and field recordings. These elements converge to form a cohesive musical journey in which the listener can freely interpret at will.
“I feel like I’m in a very distinctive place when I listen to Mood Tattooed. It’s like a magical jungle at night, dark and green with little tropical fireflies of various neon colors buzzing quietly about. Its mystical and deep, there is a waterfall around somewhere, and all the noises of the wind and the trees and the creatures form a natural symphony lit by the stars poking their way through both the canopy of tall trees and beyond that the limitlessness anchored in by the threshold of our earthly atmosphere.” - DËWALT ßTIHL
