Store Owner Stabbed Over Snapple In PLG: NYPD
Two persons beat and stabbed a shopkeeper when he tried to stop the thieves, police said.

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A shopkeeper was stabbed and beaten over a bottle of Snapple, police said.
At just before 6 p.m. on Jan. 16, a man and a woman attempted to walk out of the Deli and Grill at 1990 Bedford Ave., near Parkside Avenue, with a bottle of the popular drink without paying, according to officials.
When the 44-year-old store owner attempted to stop the Snapple theft, the man stabbed him in the back once while the woman punched the victim in the face multiple times, police said.

The owner was brought by first responders to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Officials said the two people fled down Bedford Avenue in an unknown direction.
