Teenager's Nose Broken In Barclays Center Subway Attack: Cops

A 17-year-old was repeatedly punched and kicked in Prospect Heights, and cops made no arrests a week later.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, NY — A group attack in Prospect Heights sent a 17-year-old to the hospital with a fractured nose on March 16, police said Thursday.

The 17-year-old was repeatedly kicked and punched in the head and body by a group of people at the subway station near Barclays Center on March 16, according to NYPD.

The young man hospitalized with a fractured nose and the attackers fled on foot, police said. Police had made no arrests Friday.

It was not immediately clear what time the attack occurred.

A similar attack occurred at Barclays Center just a week before, when 10 individuals punched and kicked a 17-year-old, stealing his phone and tablet and fleeing, according to police.
