Union Market To Open Prospect Heights Location Wednesday

The newest outpost of Union Market will open at 342 Flatbush Ave. on May 16, according to signs in the window.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Union Market, the ritzy grocery store chain with outposts across the borough, will open its newest location on Flatbush Avenue on Wednesday.

The newest Union Market grocery will open at 342 Flatbush Ave. at 11 a.m. on May 16, according to signs posted in the storefront windows.

The opening comes about two years after Union Market — a high-end grocery store best known for its locally-sourced produce, cured meats and cheeses, and organic products — and SoulCycle announced they’d leased space in the Prospect Heights building in September 2015, Commercial Observer reported at the time.

The 4,500-square-foot store will be Union Market’s fourth location in Brooklyn — they currently have two outposts in Park Slope and one in Cobble Hill — and its fifth in the city.

Soul Cycle, which took over the second floor of the Flatbush Avenue building, opened its doors to the public in June, according to DNAinfo.
