White Rabbit Abandoned In Prospect Park Needs Home
A New Zealand bunny who was abandoned in Prospect Park in May is still in need of a "furever" home, according to an online Facebook plea.

PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN -- Follow the white rabbit ... then take him home and feed him carrots.
A Brooklyn woman is hoping to find a home for the large white New Zealand rabbit she found abandoned in Prospect Park on Memorial Day weekend in May.
Rani Lass took to Facebook to plead a home for the abandoned bunny, who has since lived with a foster family, but still needs a permanent home.

"If you can give this rabbit a great furever home," Lass wrote, "please let me know."

Lass did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment, but asked anyone interested to email her at pawsandsmiles.org@gmail.com.
The abandoned bunny is not the first furry beast to have been abandoned in Prospect Park. Brooklynites have previously found a pup tied to a tree, a runaway bull, a crew of 27 guinea pigs and one elusive guinea pig loner.
