• Duo Caught With Loaded Gun, Stolen Plates On Taconic Parkway In Putnam Valley: Sheriff (dailyvoice.com) — A late-night traffic stop on the Taconic Parkway in Putnam Valley led deputies to recover a loaded handgun, high-capacity magazine, and stolen license plates, according to county officials. Two out-of-town suspects now face multiple weapon and stolen-property charges and were arraigned in Putnam Valley Town Court, where they were released pending further proceedings.
