AHRC New York City Hosting Queens Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 14
Discover the Rewards of a Career in Direct Support

AHRC New York City will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 14, at its Bloomberg Apartments, 89-02 162nd St., in Queens. Seeking candidates for Direct Support Professionals, who support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in all aspects of their lives. Many DSPs have discovered rewarding careers after working in retail and other industries.
The essential work DSPs do every day, around the clock is honorable, immeasurable, and impactful. Throughout the pandemic they have been the backbone of care for people with disabilities, who are at high-risk of COVID-19.
"Our DSPs are on the frontline supporting people with I/DD in all aspects of their lives," said Marco Damiani, CEO of AHRC New York City. "If you are committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, we will provide you with the training and on-the-job support to set you up for success."
