We have been installing and building awnings in new York and long Island for over fifteen years. Awnings are a great investment to not only increase home value and comfort of expending living space but also will save you on your home energy bills.

There are two main types of awnings one being aluminum and the other polycarbonate or zorox awnings. Aluminum awnings are made out of aluminum metal framing with aluminum sheeting on top. The sheets come in a variety of colors that are baked on from the factory with industrial quality paint. All awnings come with fringes and wings. The awning will pitch from the back to the front allowing the water to fall off the front and cover you.

Plexiglass or polycarbonate awnings are made out of aluminum metal frames and have plexiglass or flexiglass sheeting on top. The zorox or lexan sheeting comes in clear or tinted. The clear will block about 25% of the sun and the tinted will only allow in 25% of the sun. Plexiglass awnings come with gutters and can have artwork around the awnings to look nicer.
